Vocal Competition Application - Where Stars Are Born

Christmas Edition 2026

Submit your application and both performance videos by 6 December 2026. Results will be announced on 24 December 2026.

Two songs are required: one Christmas or New Year song and one free-choice song, each no longer than four minutes. The total entry fee is £50 per act for both songs, the same for solo, duo and trio entries.

Choose the style that best describes your singing. This is descriptive information for the jury; the Christmas competition age categories and rules apply.

4. Your performance

Submit two songs, each no longer than 4 minutes: a Christmas or New Year song and a free-choice song. Both videos must be recorded specifically for Where Stars Are Born — Christmas Edition. Before each song, introduce yourself in English: “Hello, my name is [name], I am [age] years old and I am from [country]. I am performing for Where Stars Are Born — Christmas Edition.” Include this spoken introduction in each video. Record in landscape mode, in one continuous take, without editing, auto-tune or vocal processing. Use live accompaniment or a backing track without lead vocals. Upload each video separately to YouTube as Unlisted, not Private. Other video platforms and uploaded video files are not accepted.

8. Entry fee

The entry fee is £50 per act for the two required songs, the same for solo, duo and trio entries. It includes judging, administration and digital diplomas and is non-refundable. Complete your £50 payment securely through Stripe when submitting this application. Your application, both videos and payment must be received by 6 December 2026. Payments are charged in GBP. International cards are accepted, subject to your bank’s approval. If you have difficulty paying, contact contact@wherestarsareborn.co.uk.
